In 2014 Syba Academy is extending its professional development programs to include a range of new and exciting programs and a wider range of formats to meet all your professional learning needs. We will be operating as ‘Syba Academy’ which we feel better reflects the quality and diversity of our services.
In addition, all our 2014 professional development programs are accredited with the NSW Institute of Teachers. We will also be seeking accreditation in other states as soon as these accreditation schemes are established
With the implementation of the Australian Curriculum and digital learning initiatives, in concert with the changes to individual teachers’ professional learning requirements as a result of the AITSL and NSWIT Professional Standards for Teachers, we understand 2014 is a pivotal year for school communities and education systems to provide a range of professional learning opportunities to help build staff capacity and confidence in designing and implementing new curriculum, and in planning and managing individual teachers’ professional learning portfolios.
The Syba Academy has had 7 years experience as a professional learning provider, and gained NSWIT endorsement in 2013 as a provider of professional development.
The purpose of this survey is to identify the professional learning needs, preferences and expectations of individual teachers, teacher librarians, principals, curriculum and e-learning coordinators, department heads, and school-based learning teams throughout the 2014 school year.
Your completion of this survey will help inform the development of a rich and diverse professional learning program offered by the Syba Academy for 2014
All survey responses will remain confidential.
Thanks in advance for your input.
